Ruth’s Shawl
I designed this shawl for my sister to wear to her wedding. We decided on the crescent shape as being both pretty and versatile, with a plain centre and a lacy border. I have always been drawn to the lovely nupps and gathered stitches of Estonian lace knitting, and this is my homage to those traditional patterns.
The shawl can be made using either lace or light fingering weight yarn.

Finished shawl measures 210cm / 82.5in across by 55cm / 21.75in deep.
